What will need to change?

HardwareThe SLC chassis leaves and a Compact5000 chassis with the 5069-IA16 takes its place. One distributor guide names a different conversion module, but two OEM documents agree on the M01.
WiringThe M01 conversion module keeps the existing 85-132VAC field terminations. Check each field device against the 5069 electrical specification before re-landing wires.
SoftwareRSLogix 500 gives way to Studio 5000. Convert the program and retest I/O mapping and timing on the bench before cutover.
I/OThe count and AC input class stay at 16 points, but the module now lives on Compact5000 instead of the SLC rack. Revisit input filtering and scan-time assumptions in the new platform.
