What will need to change?

Hardware	The PLC-5 chassis gives way to a ControlLogix chassis.
Software	Move the program from RSLogix 5 to Studio 5000 Logix Designer with the conversion tools. Scan and memory behavior change, so retest the application.
Wiring	Existing field wiring carries over through 1492 conversion hardware. Confirm the terminal layout when ordering the adapters.
Communications	DH+, RIO, and ControlNet networks move to EtherNet/IP. Re-address devices and rework the network cabling.
