What will need to change?

Footprint / mountingThe PowerFlex frame mounts differently from the 1336. Compare the replacement frame against your enclosure before ordering.
WiringThe existing TB2/TB3 control wiring needs remapping to the PowerFlex I/O. Confirm whether your installation uses 2-wire or 3-wire control first.
I/OAnalog scaling has to be redone. On the 525, a single relay output replaces multiple outputs, so interlock wiring changes.
SoftwareDriveTools projects do not transfer. Re-enter the parameters in Connected Components Workbench.
AccessoriesOperator interface modules and cables change. Recheck line protection for the drive you choose.
CommunicationsSome legacy 20-COMM adapters work on the PowerFlex 755 within port and frame limits. Confirm whether that carries over to your chosen 753 or 525.
